Jaywing is delighted to announce it has been awarded 2 Star Status: Outstanding by Best Companies 2009.

Best Companies Accreditation

Data specialist Jaywing, a member of Digital Marketing Group plc, has been awarded two stars in The Best Companies Survey 2009.  The accreditation, which is based on a range of criteria from company leadership to the well being of individuals, is testament to Jaywing's dedication to creating and maintaining a positive culture for its people.

The project is run by workplace engagement specialist Best Companies, which also runs the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For.  Jaywingers completed a survey, making positive feedback vital to a strong overall grade.

Out of all the small companies involved in the 2009 project, Jaywing ranked 33rd in offering a 'fair deal' to its people, and scored consistently highly in all other categories including 'leadership', 'my company', 'my manager', 'my team' and 'well being'.

795 companies applied and just over 200 achieved 2 star status or more, with only 55 achieving 3 star status.

Andy Gardner at Jaywing comments:
"When we first set up the company our goal was to nurture a positive and welcoming work environment.  Our consultants are all home and mobile workers, and have the flexibility and freedom to allow their work and home lives to complement one another.  We've also been careful not to introduce an overbearing and stifling management structure, and our people are encouraged to focus on and develop the areas and skills they enjoy and excel in.  Because the team is so passionate about what they do, this shows through in the quality of our work too, so clients can expect the very best.

"Receiving two star accreditation in our debut year is a fantastic achievement, and congratulations go to everyone at Jaywing who have, together, made this possible."
