Thomas Cook Financial Services has appointed the data specialist, Jaywing (a member of Digital Marketing Group plc), to develop and grow its position as the UK's favourite provider of travel-related financial products for customers, using personal marketing platform, "Digital Brain". Fellow Digital Marketing Group member, Inbox, will develop a microsite and provide email fulfilment for the initial campaign.
Thomas Cook is a leader in providing foreign exchange, credit cards and travel insurance, offering some of the best deals available on the market today. For example, the Thomas Cook Credit Card is unique in not only offering commission-free transactions whilst abroad, but also, commission-free cash withdrawals and three months interest-free credit on all Thomas Cook purchases, such as holidays, flights, currency, insurance and holiday extras.
To take this growth to the next level, Thomas Cook has appointed data specialist, Jaywing to generate best-in-class tactical activity to assist in acquiring more customers, and ensure existing customers develop a deeper relationship with the market-leading travel brand. The initial project involves the rapid development of a piece of activity that will drive consumers to a microsite with e-mail fulfilment created by Inbox.

Jaywing will work alongside Thomas Cook's internal financial services product team and its cross-business marketing team, as well as working with Thomas Cook's marketing agencies on the development of specific campaigns. Thomas Cook announced last week it is reviewing its main creative account, and will shortly make a decision on a new rostered direct marketing agency.
